Stop Keying Invoice Data By Hand

If you work in freight forwarding or customs brokerage, you know the pain: a supplier sends a commercial invoice as a PDF, and someone has to manually key every line item — descriptions, quantities, values, country of origin — into your customs entry system. It's slow, error-prone, and adds no value.

The LogistiCore Invoice Tool changes that. Upload your PDF invoice, and it automatically extracts all the data you need and exports it to a structured Excel spreadsheet — formatted and ready to upload directly into your customs entry system.

How It Works

Three steps. No manual keying. No errors.

📄

1. Upload Your PDF Invoice

Upload any commercial invoice in PDF format — supplier invoices, pro-forma invoices, or packing lists. The tool reads the document automatically.

2. Data Extracted Automatically

The tool identifies and extracts goods descriptions, quantities, unit values, total values, countries of origin, and other key fields from every line item.

📊

3. Download Your Excel File

Download a structured Excel spreadsheet with your data mapped to the columns your customs entry system expects — ready to upload immediately.

What the Tool Extracts

🏷️

Goods Descriptions

Full line-by-line goods descriptions extracted as they appear on the invoice, ready for your customs entry commodity lines.

🔢

Quantities & Units

Item quantities and units of measurement extracted per line — no more manually counting or transcribing from pages of invoice data.

💷

Values & Currencies

Unit prices, line totals, and invoice currency captured accurately — critical for correct customs valuation.

🌍

Country of Origin

Origin countries extracted per commodity line where declared on the invoice — essential for preference and tariff calculations.

Package Details

Number of packages, gross weights, and net weights where available — feeding directly into your shipment and declaration fields.

📋

Invoice Header Data (on request)

Supplier name, invoice number, date, buyer details, and Incoterms. Not extracted by default — available as a configuration option for clients who need it in their upload format.

Built for UK Customs & Freight Professionals

This is not a generic tool. It was designed specifically for the UK customs and freight forwarding industry, with output mapped to customs entry system upload formats.

🛃 Customs Brokers

Eliminate manual data entry from supplier invoices. Reduce declaration preparation time and keying errors on UK import and export entries.

✈️ Freight Forwarders

Process commercial invoices faster and feed accurate data into your freight management and customs platforms without retyping.

🏭 Importers & Exporters

Simplify the handoff between your commercial team and customs team. Send a structured Excel instead of a raw PDF for every shipment.

📁 3PL Providers

Manage high volumes of client invoices efficiently. Process multiple invoices quickly and keep data consistent across shipments.

The Real Cost of Manual Invoice Keying

A single commercial invoice with 20 line items can take 20–40 minutes to key into a customs entry system. Multiply that across dozens of shipments per week and you're losing days of productive time every month — plus introducing the risk of keying errors that can lead to misdeclarations, delays, and penalties.

⚙ Customs Tool — HMRC Integration

Invoice Data Is Step One. Document Codes Are Step Two.

Once you have your invoice data extracted, every CDS import declaration requires document codes — the HMRC references that identify which licences, certificates, and authorisations apply to your goods (N935, C600, U110, and hundreds more).

Our Customs Tool connects directly to HMRC in real-time to look up the correct document codes for your commodity. No manual lookup in the tariff. No guessing which codes apply. The tool queries HMRC's API and returns the valid document requirements for your specific goods — instantly.

📡 Real-Time HMRC API

Queries HMRC's Trade Tariff API live — document code results are always current, never out-of-date reference lists.

🔍 Commodity-Specific Results

Enter your commodity code and the tool returns exactly which document codes are required, permitted, or conditional for those goods.

📋 CDS Declaration Ready

Results map directly to CDS data element 2/3 — copy the codes straight into your declaration or customs entry system upload.
